Jimena Hoyos

Jimena Hoyos is an actress, photographer, writer, producer, tv host and animal activist born in Bogota Colombia. As an actress she began working on Colombian soap operas and then moved to New York to peruse and train herself on her career. Studied at Stella Adler and began to work in theater and film. Best known for her role on The Devil Wears Prada shot in NY and Runner Up in the Soap Net Original Series I wanna be a Soap Star shot in LA. After more than 10 years of living and working abroad she returned to Colombia and devoted herself to creating Gozques Inc a charitable institution for the protection and nurture of homeless dogs.

As a writer she wrote “Transformar el Dolor” published by Penguin Random House in 2022 and as a photographer she has published 2 photography books and has done 7 exhibitions of her photos of homeless dogs framed with “story telling” recycled junk all over the world including Bogota, Medellin, Miami and New York City.

As producer and TV host she developed “Mucho Animal” a Colombia national tv show that shared information and the history of the animal kingdom.
